Leeds and the Thousand Islands Fire Service operates four fire stations in the Township. We have three permenanet staff members and approximately 100 volunteer firefighters who are the heart of the department.
The Emergency Services Training Centre is managed by the Fire Service staff and is located in Lyndhurst.
