Each February, the Ontario Heritage Trust encourages Ontarians to participate in Heritage Week to celebrate all forms of heritage (cultural and natural, architectural, archaeological and collections). Since 1974, the third Monday every February has been identified as Heritage Day in Canada.
In 2025, Heritage Week takes place from February 17-23.
To celebrate Heritage Week this year, TLTI will be sharing a postcard each day on our facebook and social media channels, from the Leeds and the Thousand Islands Archives to highlight the cultural heritage of our community.
