Leeds and the Thousand Islands Council sets final 2025 Tax Rate

April 1, 2025, Lansdowne, ON – On January 13, 2025, the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands (TLTI) Council, approved the 2025 Operating budget with a net tax levy requirement of $12,869,100. The Capital budget of $14,889,100 was also approved, contingent on successful grant applications.

Kingston – Cataraqui Conservation has updated the current Flood Watch today due to elevated water levels and the forecast for additional rainfall.

Weather Situation:
36 – 47mm of precipitation fell in the Cataraqui region over the period of March 28 – 31, which is over half a month’s worth.
